### How do I merge PDF files online for free?

Upload your PDF files using the drag-and-drop area above, arrange them in your preferred order using the arrow buttons, then click 'Merge PDFs'. Your combined document will download automatically. No signup or payment required.

### Is it safe to merge PDF files online?

Your files are sent to our servers to be merged over an encrypted connection. Large files are stored in our cloud storage so they can be processed, and stay there until you delete them from the file manager. Do not upload confidential documents you cannot later remove.

### How many PDF files can I merge at once?

There is no hard limit on the number of files in a single merge. Fair-use limits apply across requests (currently 20 merges per hour), and each file can be up to 50MB.

### Can I reorder pages before merging?

Yes. After uploading your files, use the up and down arrow buttons to rearrange the file order. The final merged PDF will follow the order you set.
